last friday

few mobiltiy drills on the field....yawn.

gets better...

started the heavy sled pulling with a 35 and huge friggin brick.
Next I had Wes sit upon the brick.
right at 300lbs for 3 sets of 50yrds
that defined a whole new level of burn me.
now that's my kind of cardio.

That's good stuff. Sounds painful. i think i could get into that sorta thang. S&K left, and i've pretty much been a sloth since. Seriously mate, we gotta do some long weekends up here with the Shawnmeister. The brutha needs a climbpartner, and probably some fellowship as well. Said he hadn't been climbing in like two years. Nobody to hold the other end of the rope, it turns out. i just got a guide to a whole bunch'a areas around albuq. and there's a lot of moderate stuff within 1-1.5 hrs. from us. You guys should converge there and we'll camp, pull down some 8s and 9s and 10s, and imbibe something decent that Shawn'll hafta bring. (Tommyknocker is, afterall, here, and Butthead's still among the finest brews i've had). Plan?

That sounds mighty nice. I feel that I might be at somewhat of a disadvantage(except when we start drinking, of course). I've always been the crapiest climber in the group. Now I'm also the heaviest. I don't think the extra weight will improve my climbing. I'll do a lot a belaying.
