Today (leg day) was a lesson in mental toughness. Or, at least I kept telling them it was all in their minds. They disagreed and would've kicked my ass, but they couldn't really lift thier legs anymore. My workout went like this:
- squats - 9 sets of 5 at 75% - 365lbs.
- squats - 1 set of 10 at 365lbs to pick up the slack from the other two guys.
- ham curlz - 10 sets of 10 at some arbitrary weight on Mike's bowflex. I made it hurt.
- Walking DB lunges w/35's - 3 sets of 16 steps
- Romanian DL - 135lbs for 3 sets of 8
Michael's workout:
- Ham curlz - 10X10
- Squats - 10x10 @ 175lbs. Had to insult his manhood to get him to finish the last set
- done.
Mike's workout:
- Squats - 8 sets of 10 @ 275
- Projectile vommit for 20 minutes
- Come back in the gym and proclaim that's the hardest he's ever puked.
- done.
Should be a fun two months.
I'm seriously looking forward to this climbing trip.
