The Highlander
Man it is awesome up here. I'm sitting on the deck, early morning, with a nice cup o joe, leeching some poor fool's wireless connection. I allready went for a hike this morning. I noticed immediately that all that dribble about hating to run went right out the window. I wanted nothing more than to put some shoes on and run until I passed out. I remembered how much I used to truly love trail running, and, of course, how much I love being in the mountains. We should all meet up here sometime. It only takes us about 4.5 hours to get here and ruidoso is really a pretty cool place. It aint colorado, but it'll do when you're desperate, for sure.

Well, i'm in Homey-G. i could use a li'l mt. air meself. OO, speaking of which, m' people-in-law asked steph if i'd be interested in some time in their time share at Wolf Creek sometime this winter with my brothers in law for a christmas present. i think it'd be mighty cool if you were to hop on that wagon. Neither of them will go down a black run. and i will get terribly melancholy (and drunk) if i have to spend any time riding blues intentionally. Trying to grasp the concept of taking a lift up a mt. for 15 minutes to ride a blue run is like trying to understand why my taxes are used to subsidize crack-whores and public schools. Tell me if you'd be into that li'l shindig, and i'll let you know when it's perpetratin'.

Aaaalrighty, then. Newest update is, it's gonna happen on MLK weekend. i think MLKday's on mon. the 21st. So it'll (from what i know at this point) be on the weekend from Fri. the 18th to Mon. the 21st of Jan. we'll probably leave sometime that fri. when everyone gets offa work, and come back on mon. sometime. S&C are actually gonna rent the condo for the whole week, but the guys'll have it for the weekend. You're welcome to as much of that as you want. Just no chicks or babies please.
